In her role as product designer, Cassandra’s primary responsibility is to translate each customer’s vision into a solution that engages the end user. By keeping a thumb on the pulse of industry trends, materials and consumer behavior she’s able to develop new concepts and create products to bring an idea to life. Cassandra earned a B.S. in Industrial Design from the Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts at Arizona State’s accredited Industrial Design program. She is certified in Solidworks surfacing, and was part of a team awarded the 2013 Partner Award of Excellence from retail giant, Target, for Design and Business efforts. She began her design career at Mountainsmith, combining her love of the great outdoors with a passion for trend research, new product development and concept testing. When not hard at work designing the next big thing, Cassandra can be found exploring, traveling, and capturing it all on camera.
